Designing a home overlooking the serene Derwent River for our client, CK Hill Builders, was truly a dream come true.

One of the most crucial aspects of this riverfront project was maximizing the breathtaking river views. To achieve this, we incorporated a fully glazed façade, which seamlessly brings the tranquil river landscape into the living spaces. Elevating the first floor not only enhances the views but also creates ample space for an ancillary dwelling beneath the main house. This thoughtful design makes the most of the land’s natural topography, using terraces and landscape features to both maximize the view and optimize land use. The result is a home that offers both a stunning visual connection to the river and functional living spaces, ensuring a perfect blend of beauty and practicality.
