Midway Point House Additions

The client, an owner-builder, plans to remodel a 1980s single-storey home to accommodate a growing family. The second-floor addition will include new bedrooms and bathrooms, while the lower level will feature a redesigned kitchen, living area, bathroom, and two bedrooms.

Our design strategy focuses on maximizing land use within council regulations and optimizing the budget by selecting cost-effective materials without compromising on quality or functionality. This remodel aims to enhance the home’s livability and meet the family’s needs, creating a more spacious, practical living environment for years to come.
