This townhouse development transforms an under-utilized parking space behind heritage houses into a modern living complex. Carefully positioned within a Heritage precinct on a busy inner-lot along Melville Street, the project integrates seamlessly with its surroundings. The development consists of three townhouses, combined into a large building complex that features ground-floor parking, private open spaces, and upper-level living areas.
The three-story building includes three- and four-bedroom apartments, designed to mirror the scale of nearby heritage homes. Materials have been thoughtfully selected to complement the character of the surrounding buildings.
Accessed via a narrow right of way and surrounded by other dwellings, the project faced challenges in obtaining planning approval due to the complex heritage and zoning restrictions. However, with the support of our planning consultants and legal team, we successfully navigated the approval process and secured the necessary permits from the local council. We are excited to see this development come to life.
